Frequently Asked Questions
How long will I have to wait for my first appointment?
Dr Wolfe will schedule your appointment immediately. She has office hours on Tuesdays in the morning, afternoon and evening.
How long does a session last?
Sessions are 50 minutes. In the event a client would prefer a longer session one can arranged prior to the appointment.
Why doesn't Dr Beth accept insurance?
She believes that client privacy and confidentiality are critical components of the counseling relationship. When individuals use insurance benefits to cover their mental health or substance abuse counseling, the counselor is required to make a formal mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. Many clients do not want a diagnosis to become part of their permanent medical record.
Who "regulates" mental health counselors in Florida?
Dr Wolfe is licensed as a professional mental health counselor by the State of Florida "Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling". Prior to being licensed in Florida, Dr Wolfe was also licensed in Georgia and Ohio.
